Helping Hand is a crisis intervention agency whose basic purpose is to minister to the need of the community not met by existing institutions. Helping Hand provides food, rent and utility assistance,  gasoline, local and long distance bus tickets, prescription medications, diapers, hygiene items and referrals to other appropriate agencies.

Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach relies heavily on volunteer assistance. Over 20 volunteers provide services to Helping Hand of Myrtle Beach. We are supported by the generous contributions of Corporations, Foundations, Churches and individuals of the greater Myrtle Beach Community. We are a United Way Agency. Helping Hand also sponsors an annual golf tournament.
